Description
State changes which include child content objects require additional feedback so the user know what content changed state and what content didn't (because it was in a different state).

We can improve this by including better help text. Here are some ideas:
Message for "Include folder items" checkbox:
If checked, eduCommons will attempt to change the state of all content in any selected folders and their subfolders. Please note: Content inside folders must have the same state as the selected folder in order to change state together.
Message for "Publishing process" screen (appears when changing state on multiple objects on the same level):
An item's state (also called its review state) determines at what point in the publication process the item is in. Please note: that you can only change the state of multiple items if they are all in the same state.

More clarification from a duplicate ticket (there are two parts to fixing this bug):
Currently when changing state of multiple objects with different states (on the same level), Plone changes the objects with the highest state and does nothing with the objects in other state(s). When this happens it would be good to post a status message alerting the user that not all content changed state.
A similar thing happens when attempting to change the state of a department or course if you check the "Include folder items" box. Only content with the same state as the department or course you are changing will change. Again, a status message here would be very helpful so that users know that not all content changed state.
